biom Question by : What is the best business on Chile?
Do you know how to make your own tour on Chile, (safari photo tour, wine tour, UFO tour, salt tour, family point to point tour, glaciers tour)...?

Umm probably wine, especially since Chile's wines are acknowledged in lots of countries. :]
And to the person under me, you only pay on certain highways and sections and it's pretty cheap(:

After living in Santiago for over three years I can honestly say that business here is very difficult. Bear in mind the minimum wage is 280.00 US dollars per month! Price here are much more expensive than in the US and there is absolutely nothing to do! If you like shooting sports forget it as the army is terrified of citizens owning guns. This is due to the fact that the Spanish only picked on unarmed Indians to kill and mutilate. There is a 19% goods and service tax along with income tax that will go as high as 43%! You also have to pay to drive on the highways and that is not cheap either. Gasoline is over 4.00 US per gallon. It is much better in the US as this place is at least 100 years behind the US.
Tourism is highly developed in Chile as well as the wine industry. If you have in mind setting your own business don’t go that path as you will have thousand of competitors who are well experienced and will crush your business. Go with internet and electronics although right now, my decision would be do not invest large amounts of money anywhere in the world.
