I was there 4 years ago and even then it was great.I was in old town efes,pamukale its beautiful......
you should definitely go there...

Sorry I only lived there from age 3 to 7 before coming to america
I went last year and I hated it because the men followed and harassed me constantly and I felt like everyone was cheating me all the time. It is a beautiful country with lots to see but all I did was cry after a while because I couldn’t go anywhere. Even the hotel manager saw trying to come to my room. It was soo horrible.
We didn’t go with a tour group but drove.It is a most interesting country.Do dress appropriately ,they are Muslims.
I did go there for a couple of days. If you have a good travel book and have good hotel location in Istanbul, then you can see tons of stuff without a guide.
If you stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel, these have their own tours with their own guide.
Try Thomas Cook Tours or American Express… they are proffessional, courteous and honest.. your guide will show up on time and they will not ask you to help them get a visa to Europe or the US. They will not stand with their hands out waiting for your tip at the end of the tour…
