I am a licensed holder Trekking and Tour Guide of Nepal. I was born in the mountain village, I was born in the Ganeshimal / Langtang Himalayan Range in North Western Nepal, and I am University Graduate from Tribhuvan University. Now, I am studying Master in Travel and Tourism Studies specializing on Buddhism.
I started trekking job from 1998A.D. I am quiet experienced as a Tour and Trekking guide. I also speak English, Hindi quite well. Now, also member of Trekking Guide Association of Nepal. I have successfully climbed several mountain up to 6000m.

This little square is the M?nts?l? Kauppatori, or Market Square in English. Locals might know it better as Raitori after the modern building on the extreme left, Bio-Rai. Bio-Rai was built in the sixties by V?in? Raitanen and it used to house all sorts of businesses, from a gas station to a grocery store to a caf?, but is best known for being the town's movie theatre from the 60's to 2002, at which point the current owner raised the rent and ran the movie theatre out of business.

Raitori is actually the name of the building to the right of Bio-Rai. This commercial building was built in the early 1980s, and used to house Passari, a grocery store that closed its doors in 2005. In its place there are now two banks and real estate agencies along with several other businesses.

On the other side of the Keskuskatu street, and a little further down there is the Niittykukka building, which is a commercial and residential building from the 1920s.

Next to Niittykukka on the right there is the Mikontori building, which was built in the 1980s as K-Market Valtahalli. Several businesses have come and gone, but now the building is home to a night club, a clothing store, the post office and a travel agency.

On the street between the camera and the Mikontori building is the site of "Mutteri" ("The Nut"), the former bus station. Mutteri was demolished in 1962 to make way for a more modern and spacious downtown.

Further right, across Kapinakuja street is the Perhel? building, originally built in 1936, but after a series of additions has transformed from Functionalism into some kind of a monster. Having been a hardware store, furniture store, a series of grocery stores, it now houses a bookstore, an electronics store and the restaurant Amizza. The restaurant moved here from this building.

The next building on the right is the "new" S-Market grocery store. This photo by Russell Mahoney shows a glimpse of what was destroyed to make way for it.

One of these places is the Morne Fortune which is one of the principle battle fields where the British and French fought for control over the island. The fort has been rebuilt and a monument has been placed there as a reminder of this epic battle.

While visiting Saint Lucia, you must go to the Pitons, which is an incredible sight to see. They are remnants of volcanic domes and are located along the coastline.

For a treat that offers sheer relaxation, you can make your way over to the natural sulphur springs where you can take a steaming hot natural sulphur bath and truly unwind.

As you can see there is a lot to discover on the small island of Saint Lucia. While many people don't like to think of anything unfortunate happening on their holiday (such as illness or lost luggage), this is a reality of travelling to any destination.

Hi, we are trying to book our trip to Peru and debating over a couple travel companies/tour groups but can't find too many testimonials except on their own websites. We've looked into Peru For Less, Best Peru Tours, and Amazing Peru and wondered if anyone has used any of the above or has a recommendation for one. We're looking into Cusco, Maccu Picchu, and the Amazon for a week long tour.

I had a really good experience with Adventures Abroad. We went to Peru for 8 days. We visited Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. Then, we went on a cruise for 5 days in the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, and stayed 2 days in Quitto, the capital. They have different ways you can mix and match trips, such as a Peru trip with the Amazon... check it out. you'll stay in nice hotels and eat in nice restaurants for a good price, too.
